Steve Nash

Steve Nash grew up in Victoria, British Columbia and played college basketball at Santa Clara University. There he was twice named the West Coast Conference Player of the Year. In 1996, the Phoenix Suns drafted Steve in the 1st round of the NBA draft. In 1998, Nash was traded to the Dallas Mavericks. He came back to the Phoenix Suns in 2005 where he emerged as the league’s top point guard averaging 18 points and 11 assists per game. Steve was voted as a back to back two time MVP while playing for Phoenix in 2005 and 2006.

Nash is also known for being a great shooter. He is a high percentage three-point shooter (over 42% lifetime average) and is an outstanding free throw shooter; his lifetime average of 89.6% is third in NBA history.

In 2006, Nash constructed a library of drills and instructional clips that focus on individual fundamentals as well as team play and practice organization.
