Protege Athletes/Coaches Making Headlines
Russ Ortiz BASEBALL – Signs with Protege Sports to bring pitcher material to youth coaches and players.
Then ten year pro currently, with the Houston Astros, shot pitching material for Protégé Baseball before the start of the 2009 Spring Training season. After taking a year off Russ was able to spend time with his family along with rehabilitating his arm and mechanics. This time was also spent with coaching young kids which inspired him to share his pitching knowledge with Protege Sports. May 2009 be a comeback story for the veteran right-hander.
