Cobi Jones joins Protege Soccer Advisory Group
Scottsdale, AZ. Mar 27, 2007 - Today Protege Sports Inc. announced that Cobi Jones has agreed to be a member of the Protege Soccer advisory group member, joining MLS stars Craig Waibel, Pat Onstad,and Greg Vanney. The advisory group will help formulate plans for soccer instruction, coach selection, and soccer business stratagy.
Cobi Jones is one of the most recognizable and successful American soccer players of all time. Jones is currently the all-time leader of the United States national team in appearances, with more than 164 caps (scoring 15 goals). He played for the team in the 1994, 1998, and 2002 FIFA World Cups. He also represented his country at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.Jones currently plays for the Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer, with whom he has been since the team's inaugural season in 1996.
